Jane Smith & Judith Davidson: Echoes of Deeside (Speyside Recordings CSP 005, 1981)
Judith Davidson (later Judi Nicolson) is from the North East of Scotland and from a young age she was winning fiddle competitions. In 1989 she moved to Shetland, teaching traditional fiddle in schools and playing with local musicians such as Aly Bain and Willie Hunter. Fifteen years later she went back to Aberdeenshire before moving to the US in 2008.
