When Jack Beck was asked to record a solo album im the late 1980s, he got the rest of the current line-up of Heritage to play on the album with him. The result is a splendid collection of songs with tasteful accompaniment, and anyone interested in Scots folksinging will be delighted with this.

  1. I have this on vinyl...bought from Jack before he emigrated and when he was still working as a lecturer in Dunfermline.....

    UNFORTUNATELY the d/l came through corrupted....and I was unable to UNZIP it.....I've tried again just now....so here's hoping

Hi....I had a bit of a learning curve to unzip this second time around....again it came through with an error report "The following invalid file name was encountered in the archive "JackBeck/JB: jpg"........but I went to my computer and opened the main download page and with a bit of right clicking it unzipped into a file....thanks for the challenge and the music....
